We try to hold a series of social events for members and their friends through the year. The idea is to give members a chance to meet each other and enjoy themselves, without the whole-day commitment involved in most of the outings.

We hold some of them in the evenings to make them more accessible for people who can't get to our daytime events. Booking forms for all events are in the latest Newsletter, or you can ask the Publicity Secretary to email you a booking form.

Unlike our outings, transport isn't provided unless stated.

Please remember to enclose a stamped addressed envelope with all bookings

Kurling

No, it's not a typo. Unlike traditional curling stones, these are made of heavy rubber and run on stainless steel bearings allowing the game to be played on any smooth floor, and there's no frantic brushing involved.

Come along! Have some fun. No Experience is necessary.

Members £10 Non-members £12, including tea/coffee.

Spring Lunch

Once again we'll return to the Isle of Purbeck Golf Club, for what has become an annual fixture in our calendar. Full details of the menu and cost are in our Spring Newsletter and can be seen here. This is always popular, so book as soon as you can. Use the letters from the menu to fill in your choices on the booking form.

Afternoon Tea

This was so popular last autumn that we've decided to run it again. Come along to The Blue Pool  and join us for either a Cream Tea (scones, jam, cream and tea or coffee) or push the boat out with a full Afternoon Tea (a Cream Tea plus sandwiches and cakes). We’ll try to meet all dietary requirements (see booking form). We’ll have our own room in their café.

As well as a gratuity for staff and a small amount for PANT, the price includes entry to The Blue Pool which is normally £7.50. You can come early to have a walk around or stay after you’ve eaten. Tea will be served at 3pm and closing time is expected to be 5.30pm.

If you need a lift to get there, or can offer a lift, please indicate this on the booking form and we’ll try to match people up.

Members: Cream Tea £12  Afternoon Tea £19 Non-member supplement £2
